I have put together a Christmas Gift Idea List of companies and businesses that we adore! The majority are small Irish businesses, with one or two international companies.
Most of these ideas are aimed towards baby and children’s gifts a lot of them also have options for adults/parents. I have added the dates for each businesses last orders in time for Christmas.

An international company who give 10 meals to children in need for every doll sold. Women artisans in Peru hand knit every doll, providing them with a sustainable, fair trade income. The dolls are made from cotton and come in all different types of animals, large and small (perfect stocking filler). You can also get 10% off your first order.

Tanya is based in Co. Kildare and creates enchanting art based on Irish wildlife and nature. Each framed fine art piece can be personalised. Orders for Christmas can be placed until December 12th.

Angels sells eco-friendly, non-toxic rattan toys and doll furniture, inclusive dolls and nursery decor. Little Angelrose sells Miniland dolls which are handmade in Europe, anatomically correct and available in many races, different coloured hair and skin, and also some with disabilities such as a cochlear implant and Down syndrome. Jennifer is behind this gorgeous small Irish business. You will find beautiful handmade organic childrenswear in unisex prints, made on demand. LBW also donate a portion of sales to different charities.
Grainne is based in Co. Cavan and creates nursery prints. There are so many beautiful designs to choose from and each print can be personalised. The prints come unframed in a cellophane cover, backed with an A4 or A3 cardboard back so the print doesn’t bend. Order by December 16th for Christmas.

Niamh’s background in art and fashion design led her to create these beautiful and unique nursery decorations. Handmade Irish nameset nursery letters are such a lovely way to decorate your baby’s nursery or child’s bedroom. You can choose from so many different colours and fabrics and each nameset can be made to suit the spelling of your child’s name (for people like me who could never get anything with their name growing up!). Get your orders in before December 2nd.
This one is a bit different from the others I’ve suggested but if someone got me a bundle from Somega I would be delighted! Somega is a family run business in Co. Cork who supply supplements with optimum absorption in mind. You can order items on a subscription, as a once off or as a bundle. There are supplements suitable for adults and children. Sully and Juno are an Irish company based in Wexford who design and print sensory friendly clothing that is accessible to all children. Their pieces use everyday Irish (Gaeilge) sayings and can be personalised. They also have a Christmas section and cater for adults too. The team usually have a 10 working day turn around for pieces but order early in time for Christmas!

Sweetbless is a small Irish business. Rute hand makes beautiful nursery garlands, all are customisable and can be ordered through Instagram. Rute will close for orders before November 22nd.
Based in Co. Kildare, Linda beautifully hand embroiders personalised children’s clothing such as t-shirts, sweaters, and baby grows. Custom pieces are available, message Linda on Instagram to order. Last orders will be the second week in December.
The next two small Irish businesses are closed for Christmas orders but I wanted to add them as they could be gifts for any time of the year. They are both also very important people in my life and are based in the West of Ireland.
Vicky lovingly hand sews your loved one’s pieces of clothing into bears, cushions, and quilts. You might choose to have a bear made from your baby’s first items of clothing, or a cushion made from your loved one’s favourite jumper who passed away. Details on how to order can be found on the website, the waiting list is currently around 12-16 weeks.
Bespoke wooden clocks handmade in the West of Ireland. Each clock has the song Eilis most listened to while sanding written on the back. You can contact Eilis through Instagram to place an order.
